Textbook pop-up store for semester 2

Titles on the semester 2 textbook list are being stocked by the Campus Bookstore, and will be
available for students to order online.  The Bookstore will also run an RMIT pop-up store for
the first week of semester: 16 - 20 July 9:00 am - 5:00 pm.  The pop-up store will be located at
the City Campus in building 10/12 (exact location to be finalised).
The pop-up store will not stock all titles, only some of the most popular textbooks, due to space
restrictions.  Students can pre-order online and use the pop-up store as a pick-up point for
collection at no extra charge (or else they can select ‘Home Delivery’ for a small fee of $9.99).  
Students can also visit The Campus Bookstore at Monash University Caulfield Campus, which will
stock RMIT textbooks.   The Campus Bookstore additionally offer a Rental service for selected textbook
titles (please see their website for details - these rentals must be paid for and processed online only).

as well as a link to the finalised semester 2 textbook list.

There is now a new location for the COOP Bookshop in Bundoora,  Building 202 on level 2, just next door to RMIT Connect.  If you wish to purchase your education textbooks (none left in the library?) then go to the Bookshop in 202 or go to the  Online Coop Bookshop at  http://www.coop.com.au/textbook/search/rmit-bundoora/1701 Register and make account and you can also sell your unwanted textbooks back to them and presumably purchase second hand texts also.

Children's book Council of Australia - book of the year short list

On the 17th of August the  CBCA Book of the year awards will be announced.   We have many of the titles that have been shortlisted available in the Bundoora library.   Login to LibrarySearch and place a hold on them if you wish to view, or come in an grab them off the shelves if they are available! This years theme for the CBCA book week 18-24th of August is "Find your treasure", we hope you enjoy these titles, and can make use of them in a classroom setting. Here is a new tool produced by RMIT Librarians to provide you with a clear and easy way to ensure your referencing is correct.  Easy Cite allows you to choose the style you need (the School of Education requires APA6th), then select the amount of authors, and then the type of reference.  You may be trying to reference a journal article that you found in an RMIT Database. After carefully choosing the type of reference you will be provided with an example of how to paraphrase or quote in the body of your text and then how to construct the citation for your reference list.
