A recent study by Mission Australia regarding  the top issues of concern for young people in Australia points to coping with stress as the number one problem.    This is followed by school and study concerns, and body image issues. Inspirational mathematics teaching

Eddie Woo was on Australian Story  and the 7.30 report recently.  He has chosen to be a teacher of Mathematics.   Something of a difficult choice, as his parents wanted him to be a doctor or a lawyer earning large amounts of money, instead of a teacher.  He could have gone down these paths, however his passion lay in education.
