How students are educated often makes the news.  This is the latest controversy making headlines... Year one students may undergo compulsory phonics testing.     Whichever way it pans out, RMIT library has resources to support learning to read using phonics. There is now a new location for the COOP Bookshop in Bundoora,  Building 202 on level 2, just next door to RMIT Connect.  If you wish to purchase your education textbooks (none left in the library?) then go to the Bookshop in 202 or go to the  Online Coop Bookshop at  http://www.coop.com.au/textbook/search/rmit-bundoora/1701 Register and make account and you can also sell your unwanted textbooks back to them and presumably purchase second hand texts also.

RMIT University Library - Easy Cite

Here is a new tool produced by RMIT Librarians to provide you with a clear and easy way to ensure your referencing is correct.  Easy Cite allows you to choose the style you need (the School of Education requires APA6th), then select the amount of authors, and then the type of reference.  You may be trying to reference a journal article that you found in an RMIT Database. After carefully choosing the type of reference you will be provided with an example of how to paraphrase or quote in the body of your text and then how to construct the citation for your reference list.
