Practical Research and Academic Skills is the newest streaming video collection on the SAGE Research Methods platform.

This collection offers the practical skills needed to successfully complete your research:

●       Planning and designing a research project
●       Securing ethical approval
●       Project management
●       Writing for publication
●       Presenting work
●       Building networks.
The videos in this collection will help you to navigate your research, take responsibility for your professional development, and identify transferable skills to progress your career.

SAGE Research Methods Video: Practical Research and Academic Skills is on trial via RMIT Library until 15 June 2018.

On the trial site, you can browse through the pages of videos, or use the "Search within results" on the right navigation panel to explore specific topics.

You can create your own clips, and link to or embed videos in your online course. Videos include transcripts, and links to related content.

There is now a new location for the COOP Bookshop in Bundoora,  Building 202 on level 2, just next door to RMIT Connect.  If you wish to purchase your education textbooks (none left in the library?) then go to the Bookshop in 202 or go to the  Online Coop Bookshop at  http://www.coop.com.au/textbook/search/rmit-bundoora/1701 Register and make account and you can also sell your unwanted textbooks back to them and presumably purchase second hand texts also.
