Library news for the School of Education

There is a fun new resource that the library is testing out, and we would love your feedback!  It is called the Story Box Library, and has a range of Australian children's authors reading their books and telling their stories. It is on trial until the 25th of May, and you have the opportunity to give us your feedback via the provided form.

It has been known for some time that Australian students are falling behind in Science and Maths in Australia .  More recently the Australian Department of Education and Training has initiated a Pilot programme to have students engage digitally with STEM subjects.     This is called ELSA , and has students in preschool exploring science, technology, engineering and mathematics practices. Students trying to find resources within RMIT library for use in the classroom, can always checkout the library guides for assistance. This is a bit of a  shortcut when looking for STEM  items that you can borrow.  Please contact June Frost , your liaison librarian for further assistance if required.
